We no longer have an ongoing waiting list. It simply got too long and the wait time was a year or more. Many had already found a puppy by the time their name came up, which is understandable.
The way our waiting list works now is a much more efficient way for us and less waiting time for those looking for a puppy. We do not accept request to be put on our waiting list until we know we are expecting puppies and have posted it on our website. We post the names of the parents and the expected due date(s). If more than one litter is listed, one request is all that needs to be sent. You will be eligible for all litters listed at that time.
We will post pictures of the puppies on our website when they are a about a week old. However, we don't ask people to choose a puppy until they are between 4-5 weeks old. Waiting until the puppies are a little older gives prospective owners a better idea of how the puppies are going to look as adults, which makes the process of choosing a puppy much easier.
When the puppies are between 4-5 weeks old, we will post pictures of each individual puppy and begin notifying the people on our list, letting them know that updated pictures are available on our website and it is time to choose their puppy. The first person on the list will have 1st choice, the second person will have 2nd choice, etc. We are happy to send more pictures and/or videos of a puppy to help you make your choice. A $300 deposit is required at that time to hold the puppy you choose until it is 8 weeks old and ready for its new home. The remaining balance is due in cash at the time of picking up your puppy. If a puppy is being flown to its new owner, the balance is due at seven weeks old. We accept PayPal and credit card. Once all puppies are adopted, that waiting list will end. A new waiting list will begin when we are once again expecting puppies.
