Purchasing a puppy
We are dedicated to making the process of choosing and adopting a puppy as easy and enjoyable as possible. We will always be there to answer ANY questions that you have BEFORE, DURING, and AFTER your purchase. Our puppies often find new homes very quickly and we hate it when someone is disappointed. So if you see a puppy that you are interested in, we encourage you to call us and ask questions. We are more than happy to send you updated pictures or a video of our little bundles of joy. A deposit of $300 is required to hold a puppy for you. You have several payment options: Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, or Cash. No checks accepted.
Puppies are ready for their new home at 8 weeks of age. You are welcome to pick your puppy up, or we can fly your new puppy to an airport near you. Shipping is usually available to most locations in the US. All pets are shipped as cargo and travel in a climate controlled and pressurized area of the plane. Your puppy will arrive in his/her own personal travel crate that is yours to keep.
You will most likely choose your puppy by its color and markings, but you should know that red and red sesame Shiba puppies are typically born more brownish than red. It's not unusual for a red/red sesame puppy's coat to change a little in color up to about 12 months old. For example, a puppy with a dark muzzle will probably lose it by the time it is a year old or a puppy with black tips on its fur can loose most of the black tips. The changes are slight but something you should be aware of. Also, we strongly recommend attending a basic obedience class with your puppy. The obedience class will teach you techniques on how to train your Shiba as well as helping to keep him/her socialized with other puppies and dogs. Shibas are very smart and love to learn as long as you keep it fun!
