Mini Shiba vs. Standard Size Shiba
ABOUT MINI SHIBAS
There is no difference in personality or temperament, and no difference in health related issues when it comes to mini Shiba vs. standard size Shiba. Mini Shibas are just as loving, playful, friendly, healthy, and smart as the standard size. The only difference between mini and standard size Shibas is their size and weight. Our mini male and female are 13 - 13.5 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh about 12-14 pounds. On average, the mini are about two inches shorter at the shoulders than a standard size Shiba. Mini Shibas are ideal for people in apartments or smaller living spaces but the standard size Shiba will also do well with apartment living. Rest assured, if you adopt a mini Shiba, you will still be getting the same big Shiba attitude...but in a smaller package!

These puppies are all females and are seven weeks old. We had one litter of standard size puppies born two days after a litter of mini puppies.
